Resco choose Darenth again

Resco Products produce, package and dispatch a wide range of highly abrasive products including cement mixtures, sands, gravels and aggregates up to 10mm. For the past 20 years they have used a valve sack weigh/packer originally purchased from Darenth Weighing Services. But with production steadily increasing, Resco had to expand the capacity of their packaging facility.

Their initial enquiry specified an identical machine but they found that electronic load-cell weighing had been developed to replace the older pneumatic technology. After reassurances from Darenth that the new machine would cope with the dusty and abrasive environment of the plant, a further unit was installed. Since installation the new machine has operated with the same degree of reliability and accuracy as the older pneumatic model, which is still in operation. Each machine fills 25kg sacks at rates of up to 240 sacks per hour.
