Quick-release couplings from Action Sealtite

For fast and easy connection/disconnection of pipes, hoses, tubings and tanks, Action Sealtite have available a wide range of quick-release cam-action couplings.

Suitable for transferring liquids, powders and gases, the company’s standard couplings are supplied with rubber seals, although other materials can be offered to meet specific applications.

Acton Sealtite’s Snaplock coupling is connected simply by opening the coupler arms and inserting an adaptor into the device. The arms are then closed by hand to complete the connection.

Manufactured from aluminium, brass or 316 stainless steel, the leak-proof couplings, available in a range of sizes (from 0.5in to 6in), handle working pressures of up to 250psi (18 bar). A lightweight polyglass option offers excellent chemical resistance.

Meanwhile, special cam and groove couplings, including units with no thread, are suitable for projects in which weld ends need to be fitted. Spiral Tail couplings, for example, can be ‘screwed’ on to a composite hose, while the CRS/ERS version equipped with hose tails prevents hose blow-off by means of safety clamps. For further protection, an optional locking dust cap can be provided.

Other high-quality cam and groove coupling brands available from Action Sealtite include Insta-Lock, Ever-Tite and Banjo. The company also offers a range of fittings designed for secure IBC offloading.

Action Sealtite heat mark all stainless steel units before delivery in order to provide full traceability and to document service and repair throughout the life of the product.
