Earthline secures third planning win of 2025 with Wroxton Fields Quarry extension

EARTHLINE Ltd have achieved their third major planning success of 2025, securing approval for an extension to Wroxton Fields Quarry, near Banbury, Oxfordshire. The decision follows recent permissions at Wheatley’s Farma nd Blackburr Farm in North Wiltshire, marking a strong run of development milestones for the family-owned business.

Earthline have revitalized Wroxton Fields through substantial investment in new processing technology, including jaw and impact crushers that produce high-quality Open Graded Crushed Rock (OGCR) materials, and a modern wash plant capable of transforming ironstone into valuable sand and gravel-type single-size products such as sharp sand.

The newly approved extension adds more than three million tonnes of reserves to the operation. It is complemented by a fully permitted inert landfill, which strengthens long-term operational security and boosts the local supply of essential construction materials.

Earthline say the approval reinforces their commitment to responsible quarry development, continued investment, and supporting regional demand for sustainable aggregates.
