Company wins planning permission for two new sand and gravel sites in North Wiltshire

FAMILY-run Earthline Ltd – one of the South of England’s leading earthmoving, quarrying, and recycling businesses – have secured planning permission for two new sites in North Wiltshire, on the Gloucestershire border.

The approvals follow a lengthy planning process and mark a major step forward for the construction materials supplier. Both sites are scheduled to open in 2026.

The first – Blackburr Farm (SN6 6LG), near Marston Meysey – contains significant reserves of sand and gravel, along with equivalent capacity for inert tipping. The site will also feature a dedicated recycling facility.

The second, Wheatley’s Farm (SN6 6NX), near Ashton Keynes, also offers substantial reserves of sand and gravel, combined with capacity for inert infill and on-site recycling.

With more than 70 tippers and grabs and seven existing sites across Oxfordshire, Wiltshire, Hampshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Surrey, and Gloucestershire, Earthline say the new planning approvals will further strengthen their ability to serve a wider building materials market and area with flexibility and efficiency.
