Metso Outotec renew NW Rapid portable crushers and screeners in 250 tonnes/h range

METSO Outotec are renewing their NW Rapid portable plant solutions in the 250 tonnes/h capacity range, providing quarries with even greater capacity, mobility, and flexibility.

The NW Rapid concept consists of primary, secondary, and tertiary crushing stations that are quick to install, as the process layout and flow sheets are pre-designed for different capacities and amounts of end product.

The wheel-mounted machines and conveyors are designed to be set up without the need for heavy cranes and the entire plant can be easily relocated to a new crushing/construction site when required.

‘When producing aggregates at or near a temporary construction site, such as a highway, airport, or dam project, there can be significant savings compared with transporting aggregates from a static quarry site,’ said Jarno Pohja, product manager for portable solutions in the Aggregates business area at Metso Outotec.

‘To give our customers an even greater competitive edge, we have renewed our 250 tonnes/h range of crushers with an integrated screen, separated the electric cabinet from the chassis for improved economics, and introduced a new onboard under-size conveyor for easier transportation of the NW220GPS, NW200HPS and NW7150S Rapid machines in one piece.

‘To give the customer even more flexibility, we are also adding two new portable screens to the range, the NW2060S and NW1855S,’ said Mr Pohja.

Benefits of the NW Rapid portable crushing solutions include quick and easy purchase with 15 ready-made layouts and flowsheets; Metso Outotec’s IC process control system and remote user interface as standard; and Equipment Protection Services (EPS), including Metrics Services, scheduled inspections, extended warranty, and a wear and spare parts delivery plan.

The NW Rapid portable crushing plant solutions will be showcased on the Duo Group stand at Hillhead 2022 in Buxton from 21–23 Jun.
