NSK roller bearings

NSK say they have addressed the tough operating conditions of bearings used in crane sheaves with a new range of cylindrical roller bearings offering an advanced level of sealing that minimizes grease leakage and increases resistance to the entry of water and other external substances.

The bearings are also supplied with phosphate surface treatment to improve their resistance to corrosion. The ability of the bearings to offer longevity in arduous environments, such as quarries and construction sites, is also helped by machined holes, which are on the inner and outer rings of the bearings to allow grease replenishment, even while the bearing is in place.

The full-complement bearings are manufactured in bore sizes of up to 130mm, offering the benefits of increased radial and axial load capacities when used in crane sheaves.
