New sales director for 3D Laser Mapping

Nottingham-based company expands sales operations with appointment of Jon Chicken

3D LASER Mapping have expanded their sales operations with the appointment of Jon Chicken to the position of sales director.

Operating in the UK and across mainland Europe, Mr Chicken will be responsible for managing growth in sales of laser scanning hardware, software and systems, including the StreetMapper mobile mapping system and laser monitoring systems used widely in the mining sector.
 


Commenting on the appointment, Dr Graham Hunter, managing director of Nottingham-based 3D Laser Mapping, said: ‘Jon brings together an extensive technical background combined with proven sales experience and he will no doubt prove a valuable addition to the team.’
 


Mr Chicken joins 3D Laser Mapping from one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of infrared cameras and imaging systems for R&D, process control and surveillance applications. He has previously held a range of specialist sales roles including positions with a manufacturer of environmental test chambers and a supplier of infrared detectors and optoelectronic sensors.
