New power pack for OEMs
Finning (UK) Ltd have collaborated with Italian-based Geminiani Technology to develop a new compact power pack range for OEMs. The 3024c is the first unit to be launched and is fully compliant with Tier 2 emission regulations.
The robust modular package is equipped with a 2.2-litre, four-cylinder, in-line Cat 3000-series engine rated at 37.3kW at 2,800 rev/min. With a noise rating of 73.5dB at 7m, the power pack is quiet in operation and fully complies with European noise regulations 2000/14 CE.
The package also benefits from 50°C ambient air temperature cooling. Ease of maintenance is ensured with service access on one side of the unit.
The unit, which requires only a starting battery and fuel tank capacity, is suitable for drill rigs, high-pressure water pumps, green waste shredders, wood chippers and other general industrial applications.
A full range of power packs, ranging from 15kW to 45kW, will be available from Finning at the end of this year.
