New lime conveying system

Singleton Birch chose Rotex Europe (formerly Locker Materials Handling) as the major contractors for the extension of their hydrated lime plant in Lincolnshire.

"Rotex designed and installed two Vimec conveyors and supplied building steelwork and a surge hopper, as well as assisting in the installation of other related mechanical equipment in the plant."

"This is Rotex’s third major contract with Singleton Birch in recent years. In 1998 the company designed a plant to crush, screen and store burnt lime. In 2000 Locker assisted with the layout of a new multi-million-pound graded lime plant which included designing, supplying and installing the main plant building, providing materials handling equipment, as well as storage and blending systems."
