New IOSH course from Mentor

IOSH-accredited course for forklift operators

First IOSH-accredited safety management course for forklift operators to be unveiled

Mentor, one of the UK’s leading training providers for materials handling, access and mobile plant equipment, will be introducing their latest course – the IOSH Managing safely forklift operations – at Plantworx. This newly launched training course is the first ever IOSH- accredited safety management course tailored to the needs of those responsible for overseeing forklift operations.

It makes reference throughout to lift trucks and the environments in which they operate, as well as including a full additional module specific to the challenges faced in materials handling.

 

The nine-module course builds on the highly regarded IOSH Managing safely course, which provides delegates from any industry with a practical understanding of what must be done to ensure safety in their teams’ work.  

For more than 25 years, Mentor have been providing operator/instructor training on a wide variety of equipment types across all industries, and always work with leading accrediting bodies for the sectors in which they operate. The training provider’s courses are approved by NPORS, EU Skills, ALLMI, IPAF and PASMA, as well as offering a number of IOSH courses as part of a range of safety management and bespoke courses developed to help businesses see practical and financial benefits from safe operations.
