New general manager at Schade
Bulk-handling expert Karl-Heinz Fiegenbaum takes over commercial responsibilities from Jorg Hoffmann
KARL-Heinz Fiegenbaum, a bulk-handling expert with more than 30 years’ experience, has been appointed as general manager (commercial) of Schade Lagertechnik GmbH, a leading German manufacturer of equipment for stockyards and blending beds in the dry bulk industries.
A former general manager of Taim Weser and, until June this year, chief executive officer of the German subsidiary of Greek steel construction specialists Vemekep, Mr Fiegenbaum has taken over full commercial responsibility from Jorg Hoffmann who is leaving for a new position in the Aumund Group.
‘Handling and logistics of dry bulk are a long-term area of expertise for me,’ commented Mr Fiegenbaum. ‘I am looking forward to making use of this experience for Schade and the Aumund Group.’
Originally founded in 1879, Schade Lagertechnik GmbH have been part of the Aumund Group, specialists in conveying and storage, since 2001.
