New Bobcat skid-steer loader

Bobcat have launched a new skid-steer loader – the S100. Powered by a transverse-mounted 25kW Kubota four-cylinder 1505 Tier IIIA-compliant engine, the machine benefits from high engine power and hydraulic flow. Around 50 litres/min of auxiliary hydraulic flow gives the S100 the capability to operate over 30 different attachments.

With a height of 1,878mm, length of 2,262mm (without attachment) and width over the tyres of 1,182mm, the S100 can manoeuvre efficiently in confined spaces. It has an operating weight of just 1,800kg (with bucket), offering a rated operating capacity of 453kg and a tipping load of 907kg. This low operating weight ensures that the S100 can be easily transported on to a trailer or small truck from one job site to another, providing the user with increased flexibility and productivity.

There are a wide range of extras for the Bobcat skid-steer loader, including a Power Bob-Tach system that helps to speed up the process for changing attachment, simply by pressing a switch inside the cab. Another option is a bucket-positioning valve, which helps to ensure that the bucket and contents stay level.
