New and improved Express Asphalt app

Express Asphalt

Aggregate Industries advance their digital offering to make life easier for customers

ADVANCING their digital offering to make life easier for customers, Aggregate Industries have upgraded their Express Asphalt app with a host of new features such as information on tools and equipment, and a dedicated section for case studies.

The upgraded version also boasts an improved tonnage calculator, allowing customers to determine the volume of asphalt required prior to arrival on site.

This is supported by improvements to the app’s in-built GPS service, which now not only helps customers to locate the nearest local depot to pick up materials quickly and efficiently, but also allows them to rate any one of Aggregate Industries’ 36 asphalt sites nationwide.

In addition to a sleek new appearance, users will not only find the new app clearer, easier to navigate and more user-friendly, they will also have the opportunity to provide instant feedback.

Moreover, the app gives users access to news and information via a live Twitter feed, designed to help customers get up-to-the-minute reports on the latest developments in asphalt.

This latest release comes just months after Aggregate Industries launched their Express Collect app, a ‘click and collect’ service allowing customers to order asphalt, or tools and equipment, for collection from any one of the company’s Express Asphalt depots.

The Express Asphalt service includes a dedicated customer service team and a guaranteed order turnaround of less than 30 minutes for single loads of standard products. Both apps are available to download from the App Store or Play Store for IOS and Android.

Duncan Reaney, general manager of Express Asphalt at Aggregate Industries UK, said: ‘The new and improved Express Asphalt app is part of our commitment to revolutionizing the asphalt specification process by digitizing our offering and providing a ‘one-stop shop’ for all things asphalt.

‘By making it simpler and quicker to choose, order and pick up our products, we hope to play an important role in streamlining operations and improving efficiencies for time-stretched trade sectors.’
