Mick George acquire Recycling Force's waste division

Company expands its services portfolio with the acquisition of Recycling Force’s waste division

FORMING part of their long-term strategic plan to provide the best possible local waste-management service for businesses across Northamptonshire and Cambridgeshire, Mick George have acquired the waste division of Recycle Force.

The purchase includes five collection vehicles and 1,600 bins, increasing the company’s bin count to more than 2,000 units and waste fleet to more than 10 vehicles.

 

Jon Stump, finance director of Mick George, said: ‘Existing Recycle Force customers can expect to receive the excellent Mick George level of service and support but with the added benefits of the network we can offer. These include: front end/rear end loader services, skip hire, waste bags, bespoke waste services and the guarantee that 100% of their commercial waste will be recycled and not directed to landfill.’

As well as providing waste-management services, the company also supplies aggregates and ready-mixed concrete, along with specialist earthworks, demolition and land remediation services to the East Midlands and East Anglia regions.

Mr Stump continued: ‘The Mick George reputation is built on a long track record of delivering reliable and professional services backed up with a first class level of customer service. We will be working closely with the team at Recycle Force to ensure a smooth transition for all their existing customers and we look forward to working in partnership with these businesses to provide a tailored, personal service that all Mick George customers come to expect and value.’
