M&G Solid Fuels choose McCloskey equipment again

M&G Solid Fuels have recently taken delivery of two more McCloskey S130 vibrating screens from Aggregate Processing and Recycling (APR), the UK distributors for McCloskey.

With screening being at the forefront of their operations, M&G need to rely on screens that can work in harsh environments with maximum efficiency. With over three year’s experience of the McCloskey product, it wasn’t a difficult decision to invest in another two S130 vibrating screens to further enhance the production process at their Redcar operation. They now operate six S130 vibrating screens and are slowly phasing out the other brands.

Suitable for coal screening, quarrying, recycled products, sand and gravel and crusher circuits, the McCloskey S130 flat-deck screen comes equipped with 130 square feet of screening area, across a 14ft x 5ft top deck and a 12ft x 5ft bottom deck.

The S130 screen box can be hydraulically angled between 25 and 38 degrees and the frequency can also be altered in situ thanks to the hydraulic drive system; this allows easy setup to suit a wide range of materials. The ‘S’ range also features 15ft hoppers as standard with the largest opening to the screen feed conveyor in its class.

After three years of use of the McCloskey S130 screens, the M&G Solid Fuels’ production team have found them to be excellent.
