ReVibe solve data ‘black hole’ in vibrating screen monitoring
Anura SB1 sensor bridge said to represent significant step forward for industries such as quarrying
REVIBE Energy, based in Gothenburg, Sweden, have launched Anura SB1 – a new sensor bridge that allows reliable, real-time wireless data from vibrating screens directly into SCADA and PLC systems.
Vibrating screens have long been digital blind spots, with harsh environments making continuous sensor data collection nearly impossible. ReVibe Energy say they have changed this with the launch of the Anura SB1 sensor bridge that delivers real‐time wireless data – via Modbus TCP/IP – to systems such as Siemens, Allen‐Bradley, Aveva, Seeq, and similar.
Anura SB1, paired with ReVibe’s high‐performance self-powered VS1 sensors, eliminates the need for costly wired setups and unreliable battery‐powered sensors. The plug‐and‐play solution allows continuous, maintenance‐free monitoring of vibrating screens and feeders, ensuring that operators receive reliable data directly to their industrial control platforms.
The new product is said to represent a significant step forward for industries such as quarrying, mining, and heavy industry by paving the way for predictive maintenance and improved process control.
‘After years of research and development, we’re proud to introduce the solution the industry has been waiting for,’ said Tomas Gabinus, chief executive officer of ReVibe Energy. ‘The dark ages of data black holes in SCADA systems are behind us – our technology empowers operators to move from reactive maintenance to predictive optimization.’
