In addition, Metso will supply several semi-mobile screens, vibrating feeders, vibrating chutes and conveyors.

The order also includes design, engineering, supervision of assembly and commissioning services, as well as the training of the plant operators.

The processing system, which will be capable of operating at rates of up to 880 tonnes/h, will produce four types of end products for the infrastructure and construction of the Santo Antonio power plant on the Madeira river, near the city of Porto Velho.

Metso say delivery of the crushing and screening system will be completed by the end of the first financial quarter of 2009.
