"The School of Engineering and Minerals is currently looking to appoint someone with broad experience of the industry as full-time lecturer in quarrying/asphalt technology, primarily to teach on the college’s distance learning programmes (DAPS)."

 

"Applicants should be familiar with the use of IT and are likely to have a professional qualification and at least five years’ practical experience, which should include at least two of the following:"

  • quarry shotfiring and blast design
  • quarry operations and management
  • asphalt materials, specification, testing, contracts procurement and current design
  • surfacing management.
