Lancashire DAF strengthen fleet support capability

Lancashire DAF

DAF Trucks dealer invests in new pre-delivery inspection facility to provide higher levels of service to its customers

PRESTON-based Lancashire DAF have strengthened their commitment to national fleet customers with a new pre-delivery inspection (PDI) facility and a restructuring of their senior management team.

Recognized as one of the major hubs for DAF Trucks’ fleet sales activities nationwide, Lancashire DAF’s new PDI workshop will provide even greater levels of service and faster delivery times for some of the company’s largest UK fleet operators. Lancashire DAF’s investment in PDI includes five bays and a training centre, which will increase their PDI volumes while maintaining excellent service standards.

In addition, Lancashire DAF have announced the retirement of long-serving managing director Colin Mahon, who is succeeded by Paul Entwistle (pictured right). Mr Entwistle’s previous role as fleet sales director is occupied by newly appointed Harvey King (pictured left).

‘We have a nationwide fleet sales remit built up over many years of providing a bespoke sales, service and parts offering for fleet customers,’ said Mr Entwistle. ‘Our commitment to fleet customers starts in the workshop which will allow us to take our duty-of-care for customers to the next level.’
