Kleemann extend their digitalization portfolio
New SPECTIVE CONNECT tools and new application in John Deere Operations Centre
SUPPORTING users with work site digitalization, new configuration and optimization tools in Kleemann’s digital application SPECTIVE CONNECT help in setting correct machine parameters and monitoring processes on the work site. In addition, new innovations are available on John Deere Operations Centre – the telematics platform for Kleemann operators.
With their innovative bi-directional SPECTIVE CONNECT control system, Kleemann say they are raising crushing machine operation to a new level. Functions such as crushing gap adjustment and belt scale calibration can now be controlled conveniently and directly by the excavator operator via the app, meaning increased productivity, safety, and comfort in everyday work routines.
Moreover, the Performance Assistant feature means the crushing process is no longer simply depicted; suggestions for improvement are also actively made on the basis of the values determined. The Performance Assistant works closely with the Smart Job Configurator, informing the operator if current plant performance does not correspond to the values calculated, and providing suggestions as to how production can be optimized once again.

Simple work site digitization with SPECTIVE CONNECT is now also available with Kleemann mobile classifying and scalping screens. Operators receive all relevant data, such as speed, consumption values, and fill levels, directly on their smartphone. The ‘stockpile monitoring’ function is particularly useful for screening plants. It displays the current status of material stockpiles. When a predefined value is reached, operators receive a message that the stockpile should be cleared as soon as possible, thereby facilitating internal logistics and increasing productivity.
The user-friendly John Deere Operations Centre is the Wirtgen Group’s central telematics platform. It allows the professional management of complete work sites and is the interface between operators, machines, site managers, and dispatchers. A new feature in the Operations Centre is Wirtgen Group Performance Tracker Crushing, which makes it possible to tap into production data from Kleemann crushing plants. Target quantities can be created for work sites and the productivity of machines can be viewed live from a safe distance. Work site progress is, therefore, easier to record and new orders can be scheduled in good time.
