Keestrack hold world dealer meeting held in Norway

Around 90 people from 19 countries attended Keestrack’s world dealer meeting in Sarpsborg, Norway, held on 5-6 October 2010. The meeting was held in Norway where Keestrack with their dealer Fredheim Maskin AS holds an 80% market share of the tracked mobile screen market.

Kees Hoogendoorn, Keestrack’s group president, gave an overview of the company’s product range and welcomed dealers from Belgium, the Czech Republic, China, Italy, India and USA.

Part of the meeting was to see the mobile crushers and screeners in action in a nearby granite quarry. On show were several Keestrack and OMTRACK jaw crushers in line with Keestrack screens and scalpers.

The smallest crusher on show was Argo, the group’s best selling tracked mobile crusher Argo, a 30-tonne 1,000mm x 600mm jaw crusher. Also on show were the new developed Cruiser , a 36-tonne 1,000mm x 600mm jaw crusher with active double-deck  pre-screen, and the Giove, a 47-tonne 1,100mm x 750mm jaw crusher with active double-deck pre-screen.

The crushers are equipped with the OMTRACK non-stop system, which protects the crusher against non-crushable material by opening the jaw setting to let the material pass. The crusher then automatically goes back to the original setting without stopping.

One of the highlights was the revamped Novum 4215, a 26-tonne high-performance screen/scalper, which features a newly designed engine compartment for improved service access and a removable right-hand conveyor that allows the machine to be changed from a three-way-split to a two-way-split machine within 20 minutes.

Another highlight was Keestrack’s Key-Vision controller system, which monitors and controls the screen and recognizes any distortion before damage occurs. An optional copy screen panel can be installed in the cabin of the loader or excavator so the operator has all information and control at hand without leaving his seat.

Keestrack’s flagship Frontier 4518, is now available with a range of optional set-ups including as a heavy-duty quarry scalper or high-capacity screener. The high-capacity setup was demonstrated and is capable of handling material flow in excess of 600 tonnes/h.

Keestrack’s Explorer screen is a tracked mobile classifier screening plant available either as a three-way-split or a four-way-split screen with a 1,500mm or 1,800mm wide screenbox. For ease of maintenance, the screenbox can be lowered almost to the ground.
