Italian Impactor

Baioni Crushing Plants SpA of Italy have added to their extensive range of impact crushers with the development of a new machine to meet the demand for low head height crushers suitable for use on tracked and mobile crushing machines.

Based on the successful Baioni MS impactor, the new SR impact crusher has a lower overall height and a larger mouth opening, allowing it to be fed by most types of feeder (live roller grizzly, reciprocating, apron plate, vibrating etc). A new clamping design allows the SR unit to be fitted with high-chromium alloy hammers for improved wear and longer life; the system also allows for quicker and easier hammer changes.

All crusher adjustments are carried out hydraulically, including the opening of the crusher case for ease of maintenance. Now available in the UK, the crusher is being offered in three sizes: the SR80 (80–250 tonnes/h), the SR100a (100–300 tonnes/h) and the SR100 (100–350 tonnes/h).

Baioni UK, 6 Coppice Close, Stratford-upon-Avon, Warks CV37 6TN; tel/fax: (01789) 268583.
