Hillhead 2012: Doosan launch largest new wheel loader model

At Hillhead 2012, Doosan Infracore Construction Equipment showed for the first time in the UK, the new generation Stage IIIB compliant DL550-3 wheel loader, the top-of-the-range model in the new family of large wheel loaders from Doosan.  

With a bucket capacity of 5.4m3, the new flagship DL550-3 model has been designed to optimize fuel efficiency, combining high engine power output with new ZF transmissions and several other features for minimizing fuel consumption. Power is provided by the 13-litre Scania DC13 SCR six-cylinder 283kW diesel engine delivering ‘best in class’ power and engine torque.
