Halco team up with Terex Reedrill

Earlier this year Terex Corp. added more capabilities to their mining and construction market mix with the acquisition of Halco Holdings Ltd, including Halco Drilling International, Halco America, Halco Drilling Equipment in Australia and Halco Drilling in Ireland. Halco are now operating in conjunction with Texas-based Terex Reedrill.

Worldwide, Halco are the third largest designers, manufacturers and producers of down-the-hole drill bits and hammers for drill rigs. This represents a significant addition to the wide spectrum of drilling equipment and products already offered by Terex Reedrill.

Halco offer their NT hammers in 4in, 5in and 6in models to accommodate a wide range of applications. Their bits are manufactured from high-quality nickel-chrome alloy steel, for optimum strength, and are carburized for long life. A wide range of head patterns and buttons is available – concave, convex and flat-faced, with domed, ballistic, semi-ballistic or parabolic buttons. In addition, Halco offer a comprehensive range of directional drilling, reverse-circulation and down-the-hole products.‘

Terex Reedrill offer a wide range of drill rigs for surface and underground mining, quarrying, construction and utility applications. Products include jumbo, hydraulic-track, rotary and auger drills, as well as a broad range of rock and auger tools.
