Godwin Pumps open three new US branches

Manufacturer of Dri-Prime automatic self-priming, dry-running pump expands presence in Midwest

GODWIN Pumps, based in Bridgeport, New Jersey, have opened three new branch offices in Indianapolis (IN), Evansville (IN) and Cincinnati (OH). The company’s increased presence in the Midwest aligns with its strategy to further improve its customer services by positioning the business nearer to customer locations.

Michel Bakhos, president of Godwin, said: ‘The opening of these three new branches in the heart of the US Midwest exemplifies our commitment to our customers to bring an unequalled service support, to make available timely supply of rental pumps and related equipment, and to enhance pre- and post-sale support.’

As with all Godwin branches across the US, the new facilities will be equipped with the company’s range of surface-mounted diesel Dri-Prime pumps, as well as Flygt electric submersible pumps for construction and mining dewatering using the Flygt B, 2000, 2600, 2700 stainless steel and 5100 abrasive-resistant series.

Mr Bakhos continued: ‘The opportunity to combine Godwin and Flygt products at existing locations allows us to get to the market faster through pre-existing channels for both brands. Product offerings obviously complement each other and we are eager to showcase the operational efficiencies in availability of products, parts and services.’

The strategic expansion in the Midwest is being spearheaded by regional manager Bob Spinner.
