Finning announce new executive appointments

FINNING International have announced the appointment of Andy Fraser as executive vice-president of power systems and global business development.

Mr Fraser joined Finning (Canada) in 1979 and since then has held a variety of positions within the company. In 1994 he was appointed branch manager of Sparwood, in 1998 he became  general manager of used equipment and in 2000 he was appointed vice-president of redistribution for Finning International Inc.

Mr Fraser returned to Finning (Canada) in 2001 as vice-president of operations and customer relations and was appointed to group vice-president of Finning (Canada) in 2003. He has held his most recent role as managing director of Finning’s UK operations since 2006.

Following Mr Fraser’s new appointment, Neil Dickinson (pictured) will now assume leadership of the company’s UK operations as managing director of Finning UK.

Mr Dickinson, who has held progressively senior roles since beginning his career with H. Leverton Ltd in 1979, was appointed director of power systems (UK) in 1998 before transferring to Finning International in Vancouver to take on the role of vice-president of human resources in 2003.

In 2006 Mr Dickinson was appointed to his current position as director of construction for the company’s UK operations.
