Enerpac introduce new range of high-tonnage cylinders

Enerpac Summit Edition cylinders

Latest Summit Edition units offer durability, longer service life and increased heavy lift capability in quarries

WITH an increasing demand for heavier lifts in harsh quarry environments, Enerpac have risen to the challenge and met requirements with a new range of high-tonnage cylinders.

The company has unveiled its Summit Edition cylinders, which have been designed to offer high durability, longer service life and greater side-load resistance for increased heavy lift capability.

Key features of the units include: advanced bearing and sealing technology to extend the boundaries for eccentric loads; and reduced cylinder maintenance intervals. The effects of corrosion and scoring is said to be eliminated on the cylinders, thanks to a nitrocarburization surface treatment.

Enhanced safety has been a major design consideration on the Summt Edition cylinders. Mechanical securing of the load, side load absorption, an overflow port and a safety valve are just some of the industry safety features of the cylinders. In addition, safe and easy handling is achieved by certified lifting eyes, a collar thread and base mounting holes.

The Summit Edition units have also set a new durability standard. With longer service life, reduced maintenance and superior side-load capabilities provided, end-users are able to take on the most demanding heavy lift applications in quarries.

Other products supplied by Enerpac include single-acting, double-acting, lock nut and low-profile hydraulic cylinders from 50 to 1,000 tonnes.
