Edge Innovate stackers go Down Under

Company supplies MS80 mobile radial conveyors to a quarry in Perth, Western Australia

EDGE Innovate have delivered a multiple order of six MS80 stackers to help increase operational efficiency for a quarry operator based in Perth, western Australia. The recently introduced MS80 mobile radial conveyor is a high-performance, heavy-duty stockpiling system designed for the processing of materials including crushed aggregate, top soil, bark, coal, sand and fines.

The portable stacker provides a stockpiling capability exceeding 37ft (11m) in height and has a maximum capacity of 1,000 tonnes/h at the highest incline. As with all Edge Innovate products, the MS80 model can be custom built and is designed to minimize operator costs while increasing productivity and stockpiling capacity.

The mobile conveyor comes as standard with a radial axle and lattice section design for superior strength. The radial feature allows the integrated stockpiling conveyor to swivel through a radius of 180 degrees hydraulically.

According to Edge Innovate, their particular focus on design for ease of transportation has helped them win sales orders across the globe. ‘Keeping shipping costs down is a real bonus for dealers outside Europe,’ said Lee Williamson, Edge global sales manager. ‘Hydraulic top folds are standard equipment features across the range and allow the stackers to be easily fitted in a 40ft container, reducing transport costs.’

The MS80 unit is part of a growing range of products offered by Edge. The company will be exhibiting its latest products at the upcoming Hillhead 2012 show.
