Dynapac showcase specialist compaction and paving solutions
Wide range of equipment for the road construction industry to be shown by Dynapac at Hillhead 2012
On stand T1, in the outside exhibition area at Hillhead 2012, Dynapac, part of the Atlas Copco Group and one of the world’s leading manufacturers of specialist compaction and paving equipment, will be exhibiting a wide range of highly productive and efficient solutions suitable for operators working in the road construction industry.
Products on show include the new high-performance six-wheel-drive SD 2500WS paver, part of Dynapac’s versatile large paver range. The SD 2500WS is an extremely versatile machine, with its new high-powered engine, add traxxion system, and compact design, giving excellent operator comfort and outstanding paving performance. The brand new tractor unit is equipped with a tried and tested Vario screed (VB5100TV-E) with working widths between 2m and 9m, delivering the high-quality surface finish customers expect from Dynapac.
Visitors to the stand will also see products from Dynapac’s compact planer range. The highly maneuverable PL350TD will be on display, equipped with a short elevator, and new Dynapac leveling system. Alongside, will be its bigger brother, the PL500TD, four-wheeled, deep-cut version. With its more powerful engine, new profile hydraulic downholder, and new hydraulically folding rear conveyor, capable of a cutting depth of 200mm, and a working width of 500mm, this machine excels on road maintenance jobs.
Also being featured are products from Dynapac’s double-drum vibratory roller range, including the CC800 and CC1200. With a drum width of 800mm, the CC800 is a small asphalt roller suited for small-scale compaction work such as pavements, cycle paths, small roads and small parking areas. The CC1200 is part of Dynapac’s new range of articulated compact tandem rollers, which are specifically designed for use on city streets, where size and noise matter most. Featuring an improved design and a new engine, the CC1200 is quieter than ever and has been developed with both the operator and quality of roads in mind.
