Dealer showcase for new CRH1111R from Terex MPS

Terex hortizontal-shaft impactor

Company’s new portable horizontal-shaft impactor on show at Distributor Conference and Equipment Expo

TEREX Minerals Processing Systems, specialists in modular, portable and static crushing and screening equipment, welcomed more than 80 distributors to their three-day Americas Distributor Conference and Equipment Expo in Oklahoma City last month.

Part of the event was used to showcase the latest innovations from Terex MPS, including a demonstration of the company’s Common Control Module with a three-machine set-up, and the new CRH1111R portable horizontal-shaft impactor.

Terex MPS say the CRH1111R (pictured) is the result of distributor and customer surveys which requested improved transportability, larger screen capacity and low-maintenance electric components, compared with other equipment in this class.

With its three-axle suspension, the CRH1111R is smaller and more transportable that the longer, heavier, four-axle CRH1313R unit. The new plant features the TI4143 impact crusher, which is hydraulically clutch driven direct from a 350hp Scania diesel engine, whilst all other components, including a 5ft x 16ft two-deck inclined screen, are electrically driven from the machine’s 150kW generator.

David Quail, business line director for the Americas & Australia, said: ‘Our Americas Distributor Conference and Equipment Expo was an important event to engage with our distributors, to talk, listen and understand each other, and ultimately drive our shared businesses forward together.

‘Our distributor network is without doubt one of our strongest assets. It is important for us to share with them our passion for and knowledge of our products.’
