Coupling selection
The Falk Corp. have introduced a new full-colour coupling selection guide, available in inch or metric measurements.
The guide outlines the company's four coupling product lines and includes product cut-away illustrations, schematics and application photographs. The four product lines - Wrapflex elastomer couplings, Steelflex grid couplings, Freedom disc couplings, and Lifelign gear couplings - are available in standard or dual-purpose designs, with special configurations for unique requirements. In addition, each coupling type is offered in various sizes and with torque and bolt capacities to accommodate a wide variety of application parameters. The guide also includes a complimentary coupling selector to assist in the specification of appropriate Falk couplings for specific applications. Couplings can be chosen on bore or torque range, life expectancy, load forces, temperature characteristics and other variables.
