Constructionline Gold membership for EPC-UK
Drilling and blasting specialist successfully upgrades membership accreditation to Gold
Furthering commitment to both their client base and workforce, commercial explosives and drilling and blasting specialists EPC-UK have upgraded their Constructionline membership to Gold; a demonstration of the company’s continued assurance to maintaining the health, safety and well-being of its employees.
By joining forces with Constructionline through a Gold membership, the company is equipping itself with the attributes many clients within the sector require.
Already a member of the Institute of Explosives Engineers, the British Drilling Association and the Institute of Quarrying, EPC-UK understand the importance of positive associations with professional bodies, and the advantages these can bring to themselves and their customers.
The Constructionline body, which assesses companies’ credentials for environmental management, quality management, equal opportunities, modern slavery act adherence and anti-bribery and corruption policies, will provide a valuable service to EPC-UK and will assess the company for SSIP (Safety Schemes in Procurement).
The assessment team involved is NEBOSH qualified and eligible to ensure that EPC-UK’s health and safety processes have been reviewed by a team with the correct expertise.
‘We’re delighted to have successfully joined this most recent professional body association,’ said EPC-UK civils manager Mark Jones.
‘Constructionline Gold Membership is a working connection that many civil engineering companies look for in an operating partner – in fact, often, membership is a compulsory factor in awarding contracts.
‘Our relationship with Constructionline will ensure that all company suitability checks are automatically performed. We’ll also receive confirmation that we are up to date and compliant with necessary accreditations; saving potential customers the time and financial resource to perform these checks themselves.
‘This Gold accreditation is confirmation that EPC-UK is a good company with which to do business, that it works to a sound code of conduct, and operates fairly and transparently.’
