Brigade light the way

Brigade Electronics have been appointed as sole UK aftermarket distributors of the Nordic Lights range of heavy-duty on- and off-road work lights. Brigade say the appointment underlines their aim of providing vehicle and plant operators with a comprehensive range of transport safety systems.

Nordic Lights use advanced technology in their high-intensity discharge (HID) range of lights to deliver a number of advantages over conventional halogen light bulbs. HID lights contain xenon gas instead of a filament, which increases the service life by 10 times and provides four times more light with the same energy consumption.

The light from the HID units is a similar colour to natural daylight and this enhances safety, reduces any possible eyestrain and increases productivity.
