Avant to showcase latest product innovations

Avant 760 compact loader with Optidrive

Manufacturer to highlight the benefits of its new Optidrive system and revised compact loaders

AVANT Tecno will be displaying and demonstrating a number of products from their extensive range of compact tool carriers, including the revised 700 and 500 Series models.

For the first time in the UK, visitors to the stand will be able to see and learn more about the company’s new Optidrive system (available on the 700 Series loaders). The number of hydraulic hoses and fittings, for example, has been significantly reduced and optimized within the Optidrive unit.

According to Avant, this results in several major benefits for Avant 700 Series machinery operators, including: a 10% improvement in performance; 60% less hydraulic connections; 20% less hoses; parking brake in the rear wheels; reduced engine vibration; enhanced servicing; and slower heat build-up.

The Optidrive system is designed to reduce power loss by up to 1.5kW, which is equivalent to around 10% of the total power used in the drive circuit. This means lower fuel consumption, less heat in the hydraulic system and more power for the job in hand.

Visitors to the stand will also be able to see the full range of Avant compact loaders and accessories on static display, ranging in size and functionality, so they can find the right model for the job.

In the demonstration area, an Avant electric loader will be put through its paces, along with a fleet of attachments, to demonstrate the user-friendliness of tool carriers and their exceptional on-site capabilities and adaptability in construction applications.

Avant will also be celebrating at the show, having recently been given a 2017 Plantworx award for their innovation in the environment category. Raimo Ala-Korpi, managing director of Avant Tecno UK, commented: ‘We were delighted to receive the award from the Plantworx team. It recognizes the commitment we have to the environment and ensuring our compact loaders are as environmentally friendly as they can be.’
