EMPI Awards

EMPI Awards’ first End Point Assessment sees Tarmac apprentice gain a Pass with Distinction

ON Thursday 15 August 2019, EMPI Awards conducted their first ever End Point Assessment when apprentice Richard Nolan was put through his paces to test his knowledge and skills following his year-long Professional Operator Development Programme training with Tarmac at Hendre Quarry.

Mr Nolan demonstrated his operational skills during the observation section of his assessment and also completed a multiple-choice test and a professional interview. On conclusion of the End Point Assessment, he received his grade: Pass with Distinction.

EMPI Awards congratulate Mr Nolan on his achievement and wish him all the best with his future development opportunities.

As experts in the development and delivery of qualifications within the mineral extractives and processing industries, EMPI Awards say they have drawn upon experience gained over many years to design and deliver a high-quality, practical End Point Assessment with realistic and achievable outcomes.
