Venue

Stanwick Lakes
Event Organiser
RSPB

With many species in rapid decline, and vital habitats being lost at an alarming rate, biodiversity enhancement which is integrated into the full lifecycle of mineral sites can provide a vital lifeline. This Nature After Minerals (NAM) training course will showcase best practice examples of how minerals planning, site design & management and restoration work can facilitate the delivery of significant biodiversity net-gains, particularly at a landscape scale. The day will also include a short site visit after lunch.
