Welding on the go with new AccuPocket 150/400

AccuPocket 150/400 portable electrode power source

Speedy introduce world’s first portable electrode power source featuring lithium-ion batteries

SPEEDY say they are helping to revolutionize the mobile welding industry with the introduction of the world’s first portable electrode power source featuring lithium-ion batteries.

The AccuPocket 150/400 is suitable for repair welding or site-erection work in remote terrain, where no direct access to mains electricity is available. The unit’s technical specifications include a 10–140 amp range, 52.8V battery voltage, 230V charger voltage and 1,120W power rating.

Suitable for both MMA and TIG welding, the AccuPocket 150/400 can weld all types of electrodes up to a diameter of 4mm and, in its fast-charging mode, takes only 30 minutes to recharge the battery to more than 90% of its total capacity.

Using the latest AccuBoost technology, the award-winning AccuPocket 150/400 is said to weld extremely reliably, utilizing its built-in power reserve to achieve optimum ignition and welding properties.

The rechargeable batteries used in the AccuPocket comply with the highest safety and environmental requirements, whilst its advanced functional design, small dimensions (435mm x 160mm x 320mm) and low weight (11kg) make it suitable for use on any field work site.
