VOLVO Penta UK & Ireland have announced the appointment of SMT GB as part of their strategic initiative to strengthen their dealer network and enhance service delivery across the industrial power solutions sector. The joint initiative will focus on delivering long-term service value, fostering digital connectivity, and providing high-performance support.
This new partnership focuses exclusively on the Volvo Penta Industrial division, providing a significant opportunity to expand SMT GB’s aftermarket capabilities and enhance service levels for existing and new customers. This strategic approach aims to enable a network that can deliver world-class service throughout all stages of the equipment lifecycle, encompassing diesel, electric, and hybrid systems.

Aftermarket support will be provided for new and existing customers from SMT Customer Support Centres across Great Britain. Initially, SMT will be focused on the sales of service and repair parts and labour, and warranty management to support customers of Volvo Penta UK & Ireland.
