Utranazz launch new volumetric concrete mixer

Utranazz HM12H-E concrete mixer

Latest HM12H-E concrete mixer truck developed specifically for the UK market

UTRANAZZ, the concrete equipment specialists, have launched a new volumetric concrete mixer range that has been designed in partnership with American manufacturers Holcombe Mixers to meet the demands of the UK market.

The first model to be launched from the range is the HM12H-E, which has a 9.4 cubic metre capacity with 50 cubic metre per hour output. The concrete mixer is aesthetically modern in design and, according to Utranazz, is the most simple-to-use and easy-to-maintain volumetric mixer available in the UK that allows operators to carry the maximum amount of raw materials.

One of the most frustrating challenges facing concrete mixer operators is the time it takes to change a conveyor belt, which is typically two days. To overcome the equipment downtime, the HM12H-E mixer incorporates a patented removable cassette conveyor which features a ‘slide-out’ component held in place by eight bolts.

After removing all the bolts, the entire conveyor assembly will slide out of the back of the mixer and allow the user to simply slide in a new conveyor cassette, a process that is said to take 5h, keeping downtown to the absolute minimum.

Another common complaint by UK volumetric users is that their hydraulic systems run 100% at all times. This puts a heavy strain on the hydraulic system and causes higher failure rates on wear parts. The HM12H-E is fitted with a unique load-sensing variable-displacement hydraulic system, which scales to higher or lower levels of output. This newer system ensures that wear parts will last twice as long, reducing maintenance costs for the end-user.

The HM12H-E comes equipped with many standard features that would only be supplied as optional extras in other volumetric mixers. These include: a roll-over sheet; electronic measuring system; ticket printer; friction-less conveyor system; hydraulic chute control; and wireless remote control.

The first HM12H-E units arrived in the country last month and a demonstration mixer is now available for presentation to UK customers.
