Distributor Orba Group conducting UK-wide demonstration programme of on-site applications

SCREENCORE have announced that the latest updated variant of their Trident 125 Hi-Stak is now undergoing a UK-wide demonstration programme. Co-ordinated and undertaken by Orba Group Ltd, Screencore’s authorized UK distributor, the Hi-Stak will be demonstrated in a variety of on-site applications including quarrying, demolition, recycling, and bulk material handling.

The Screencore range of stockpilers has been designed to boost operational productivity through mobility and massive stockpiling capability combined with game-changing dual-power capability, whilst the company’s Trident range of scalper screens is designed for toughness, adaptability, high performance, and screening excellence.

Despite the effectiveness of the individual product ranges, Screencore have now combined stockpiling and scalping screening with the introduction of the Trident 125 Hi-Stak. Combining the benefits of an advanced scalper screen with the stockpiling capabilities of an advanced stacker, Screencore say they believe this machine to be a ‘world first’.

‘The Screencore range of scalper screens has developed a global reputation for advanced screening, being tough, productive, environmentally friendly and accurate,’ explained Screencore director Ciarán Ryan. ‘Likewise, the Screencore range of stockpilers has been developed to deliver huge stockpiles of materials, working with their own onboard power unit, or powered by a crusher, screen, plug-in mains, or genset.’

With this in mind, and based on customer feedback, Screencore decided to combine stockpiling and screening into one machine. ‘The result is the New Trident 125 Hi-Stak, which we believe is a game-changing development,’ said Mr Ryan. ‘The machine combines the benefits of a modern heavy-duty primary screen with the obvious benefits of a 24m stacker. Essentially, customers get two machines in one, resulting in remarkable reductions in carbon emissions, substantial fuel savings, and the elimination of the need for double handling fines.’

According to Screencore, the Trident 125 Hi-Stak is set to revolutionize efficiency across various primary screening operations. Whether within the confines of a quarry, sand and gravel operation, or dealing with soil and mulch, its capacity to effortlessly screen and stockpile large quantities of fines without necessitating double handling or the creation of a wheel loader stockpile is hugely beneficial.

Moreover, and in common with all new Screencore products, the Trident 125 Hi-Stak aligns perfectly with the company’s stated objective of prioritizing carbon reduction. ‘As we are aware we are making strong statements about the benefits of the Trident 125 Hi-Stak, we decided that demonstrations were required to display the full benefits of what we consider to be a world first,’ explained Mr Ryan.

Concentrating on the unique attributes of the updated Screencore Trident 125 Hi-Stak, the UK demonstration programme is being undertaken by Screencore distributors Orba Group. Active throughout the UK, Orba are leading providers of specialized machinery solutions – including the full range of Screencore equipment –  for various industries including quarrying, recycling, construction, demolition, and waste management.
