Tudor Griffiths open new builders’ merchant branch in Shropshire

Tudor Griffiths Bridgnorth branch

More than 11,000 lines of stock now available at company’s newly opened Bridgnorth branch

TUDOR Griffiths Group have opened a new builders’ merchant branch on a six-acre site at Chartwell Park, in Bridgnorth. The family-owned construction materials firm already operates seven builders’ merchants and the latest addition complements an existing branch in Wolverley, 12 miles away from the Bridgnorth outlet.

Expressing his delight at the opening of the new branch, managing director Tudor Griffiths said: ‘We’re delighted to be in Bridgnorth and it’s extremely exciting to finally see the doors open. The 20 new jobs we’ve created are also a real boost to the local area and we are now supplying all the essential services and products that the local building trade requires.’

The Bridgnorth branch stocks a full range of building products and construction materials, including timber, roofing, decorating solutions and landscaping products (eg draining, fencing, garden supplies etc.)

‘We’re very proud to be bringing over 11,000 lines of stock to Bridgnorth and our experienced team will now ensure that industry professionals in the local area, and the general public, can get the products they need to get their jobs done,’ said Mr Griffiths.

‘We’re particularly pleased that the Bridgnorth branch has allowed us to bring a former brownfield site back into use and create a business that should make a real difference in the local area.’

Tudor Griffiths Group employ more than 250 people in Shropshire, Cheshire, Worcestershire and mid and north Wales. The company has a network of 12 ready-mixed concrete plants, two sand and gravel quarries and a sea-dredged sand operation, as well as operating recycling and skip hire services.
