TDL Equipment strengthen sales and after-sales support

TDL Equipment, Tankersley

Company appoints three new UK sales managers and centralizes parts distribution at Tankersley

TDL Equipment, the official UK distributors of Terex heavy line construction equipment, Atlas material handlers and Genie compact telehandlers, have recently announced the appointment of three new sales managers to support the organization’s customer base in the UK.

Paul Dolan joined TDL as sales manager for the south-west of England, South Wales and the West Midlands on Monday 20 August and will be responsible for selling the full range TDL’s new and used equipment in those areas. Paul joins the TDL team from Liebherr.

On Monday 10 September, Jason Davey joined the organization as sales manager. He will perform the same role as Mr Dolan but will be responsible for the south-east of England. Jason joins TDL from Bomag and has also previously worked for Komatsu.

In June this year, TDL’s Scottish operations were boosted by the appointment of sales manager Kenny Price who, having previously worked as a product manager for the Terex truck factory in Motherwell, brings with him more than 13 years’ experience of the construction and manufacturing industries.

To further strengthen their after-sales support, TDL recently centralized all of their Terex, Atlas and Genie parts by moving them to Tankersley, near Sheffield (pictured). The TDL parts stock is now conveniently located near to the M1, making delivery to customers even quicker with 99% of parts shipped on the same day they are ordered.

Andy Oxley, TDL’s parts logistics and sales manager, commented: ‘We are always looking at ways of improving our support operations to meet customer needs. The centralization of our parts distribution makes perfect sense as it’s now closer to the main transport links, which will make delivery and collection easier and quicker.’
