Take-away service

"R. Lapthorn and Co. Ltd have introduced a complete package service for the disposal of surplus site arisings from waterside loading sites. The new ‘take-away’ service, which is thought to be unique, will initially be available from Poole to King’s Lynn, including the rivers Thames and Medway."

"The all-inclusive service comprises ship transportation, discharge and disposal. Licensed by the Environment Agency as a waste carrier, Lapthorn’s self-loading/discharge vessels will remove large volumes of inert spoil which up to now has involved fleets of lorries, causing congestion on site and on the surrounding highways. All discharges will be carried out in a licensed location and materials will be processed for reuse wherever possible."
