Senior appointment at ATH Resources
One of the UK’s largest coal producers appoints Andrew Weatherstone as group finance director
ATH Resources have announced the appointment of Andrew Weatherstone as group finance director with effect from 4 October 2010. He will replace his predecessor Steven Beaumont, who will be leaving to join RecyCoal Ltd.
Mr Weatherstone was previously group finance director at Chapelthorpe and has held senior financial positions at companies, including Commercial Vehicle Systems Inc. and Bostrom. In these roles, he has been responsible for a wide range of strategic, operational and corporate finance projects.
Commenting on the appointment, Alistair Black, chief executive of ATH Resources, said: ‘We are delighted to welcome Andrew to the board. His wide experience will be of great value as we continue to drive the performance of the mining business forward.’
