Scottish Expansion

NWH Recycling have invested £1.5 million in a high-volume recycling plant for their secondary aggregates production facility in Mayfield, Edinburgh.

The 1,500 tonnes/day washing and screening plant, purchased from Blue Machinery Scotland, is comprised entirely of Powerscreen equipment. In a planned expansion of their recycling interests, NWH Recycling are increasing their capacity to reclaim secondary aggregates by upgrading to a new Powerscreen plant with a series of recycling units working in tandem.

The new plant consists of a Commander 1400 rinser, Finesmaster 120 sand-recovery unit, log-washer, Chieftain 1400 screening plant and two stockpilers/conveyors. The installation is designed to produce high-quality, clean, saleable products at the steadily increasing volumes required by NWH’s expanding recycling business.
