SANY launch new Stage V SY215C excavator

Stage V SANY SY215C excavator

New machine designed to offer improve performance, functionality, and operator comfort

SANY have officially launched their new 22–24-tonne class SY215C Stage V excavator – the follow-up model to their SY215C Tier 4 Final excavator, which has proven very popular with customers across the UK and Ireland.

Powered by a fuel-efficient, 172hp Cummins QSB6.7 engine, the new SANY SY215C boasts a host of features and benefits aimed at improving the overall experience for the operator and business users.

Designed to provide higher levels of comfort, the new SY215C comes with a new and improved operator’s cab featuring an upgraded heated air-suspension seat with console adjustment.

There is also a new 10in LCD touchscreen display with enhanced operator controls and functionality, giving the excavator operator greater command over the setup of the machine.

An added feature of the display is the ‘fault code query’ function, which provides the operator with more detailed information on any fault codes that may occur during operation, thereby ensuring quicker diagnosis of issues and ultimately reducing machine downtime.

Intended to reduced operator fatigue, the brand-new cab also features an intelligent climate-control function with in-cab sensors, helping to automatically adjust the temperature for the operator.

The operator also benefits from a new and improved fast-charge USB point, providing reduced charge times for mobile phones and electronic devices.

Improved safety was a key priority when designing the new SY215C, hence the machine comes as standard with a high-specification 270° camera system (360° available as an option) combined with powerful LED lights positioned all around the excavator for excellent visibility.

In addition, for dark evenings, the LED lights have a ‘follow-me-home’ function that automatically switches off the lights once an adjustable time period has elapsed after the operator has turned off the engine and locked the cab.

To further enhance the adaptability of the SY215C, the new Stage V model comes with fully proportional controls as standard, allowing operators to perform grab and rotation functions at the same time, thereby increasing machine performance and functionality.
