Sales down

Despite reporting a 5% increase in net sales to SEK56,079 million (£4.7 billion) for the full year, Volvo CE say 3,400 employees are being laid off and production has been cut back after global financial uncertainties reduced sales by 29% in the fourth quarter of 2008.
