Radar system from Spillard Safety

Spillard Safety Systems have introduced the PreView radar system.

Spillard say the system is the only discriminating back-up alarm on the market designed to SAE J1741 specifications to detect objects at the rear of the vehicle, including zones obscured from the operator's view. The patented pulsed-time domain radar system can be used to detect all moving and static objects in a specific area. The system, manufactured by Preco, uses a 5.8GHz pulsed radar frequency that sweeps over the specified area 1 million times every second.
