Plant contract

AMPL have secured a new five-year contract to provide facilities management services at Alfred McAlpine's Penrhyn Quarry in Bethesda, North Wales, the world's largest slate quarry. With a capital investment of £2.2 million, the company will supply 27 items of mobile plant to the quarry in a deal which will generate a whole-life contract revenue of £4.5 million. The new contract follows on from AMPL's previous five-year contract at the site.
