Parker Hannifin expand UK sales network
New ParkerStore opens in Leicester to meet growing customer demand
BEAUMANOR Engineering Ltd – in partnership with Parker Hannifin – have opened a new, dedicated ParkerStore covering the Leicester and local area. The ParkerStore concept was pioneered by Parker Hannifin to help key independent distributors expand their own business operations, as well as supplying the company’s extensive range of motion and control products to end-users more quickly and efficiently.
According to Kevin Leonard, hydraulic business development manager at Beaumanor Engineering, the company is now becoming increasingly focused on delivering to its customers a wider range of products and services through the new ParkerStore.
He explained: ‘As a major supplier of a wide range of manufacturing components in the Leicestershire area, we’ve identified growth at the higher end of the market and see the potential to offer improved services, which will directly benefit our customers. Parker’s impressive track record with the ParkerStore retail concept gave us the confidence to venture into this new area, augmenting our existing manufacture, supply and delivery business activities.’
Parker currently have an extensive network of more than 2,600 ParkerStore outlets worldwide – each providing a large retail space where customers can find related products and benefit from the technical knowledge of specially trained on-site staff.
